"No home, no home," cries the orphan girl

An orphan girl bemoans her plight: she lacks the love of her parents and has only a winding [sp?] sheet for warmth. The rich man scorns her. She lies all night in the snow, in her sheet. She is found dead the next morning on the rich man's doorstep
